  • Cola for the toilet – if the dreaded task of cleaning the toilet bowl is getting the best of you, perhaps you will be interested to learn of this fantastic product you can use. No, it doesn’t cost much and it doesn’t take a nationwide search to find. In fact, you can get it in every café and supermarket – it is Cola. Pour down a bottle of Cola on the toilet bowl surface, let it sit for a few minutes, then brush a little and flush. There goes this difficult chore along with your worries of this task.
  • Vinegar for towels – sometimes towels and linens develop a really bad mildew stench, which can be bothersome. Did you know that by giving them a nice bubble bath in vinegar, you can get rid of that smell for good? Those tired textiles will emerge as good as new, fluffed up and smelling fresh. Not only can you fix the dank aroma, but also save on laundry detergent.
  • Steam for the microwave – nowadays a lot of ovens have a self-cleaning function, but this it’s not valid for microwaves.   • Dryer sheets for metal faucets – spent dryer sheets don’t necessarily need to be tossed on the trash. You can pay them a final respect by using them to shine metal faucets and components of appliances. Also remember that since dryer sheets have anti-static properties, you can use them effectively for dusting around your home.
  • Orange essential oil for stuck labels – you have probably experienced some discomfort from the sticky label residue that is sometimes left on newly bought kitchenware. What you need to remove the glue is orange essential oil, which can help you peel the tag easily and without leaving much residue. Not only does it get rid of the tag for you, but also gives off a pleasant scent.
